Born and bred in the faraway, crunchy land of New Hampshire, where Birkenstocks reign and cows sing, Tara Parian stole a covered wagon and escaped the monotony for the the Big Apple.
It was here where she fell into the mysterious rabbit hole of improv and sketch comedy. She co-created two video sketch teams, The Dirt-Poor Disheveled Divas and Bean Bin Productions. Her work has been featured in Cannes Short Film Corner, LA Comedy Festival and the Made In NY Filmmakers Showcase. After years of trials and tribulations she eventually made her way to SNL and was featured on multiple episodes.
Once she finished chewing up that Very Big Bruised Apple (choking on many seeds along the way) the western winds were whispering her name, so she climbed back aboard the stolen covered wagon and landed upon the utterly chilly Los Angeles. Tara is an active member of Women in Film and the Alliance of Women Directors.
